The Study Academy believes in progressive learning and the individual’s right to authentic and challenging educational experiences. In response to our rapid growth, The Study Academy is currently seeking two (2) full-time educators looking to join a highly rewarding and collaborative faculty.
We are currently looking to fill two full-time roles in our Upper School (Gr. 9 – 12) with an eye to professional development and mentorship for the successful candidates. The ideal candidate will have some combination of Science, Math, Phys. Ed., and French qualifications as well as experience working with differentiated instruction, tailored programming, and inquiry-based learning. Teachers are expected to participate in a variety of professional development and strategic planning meetings on a weekly basis. At The Study Academy, we also have a unique Advisor/Advisee program which requires teachers to guide a small group of students 1:1 throughout the year to support the successful completion of their academic and interpersonal goals. The role will run between late August 2019 and July 2020. Benefits and remuneration will be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
