TSA Accreditation

Seeking to grow the school and build a library of resources for high-quality teaching and professional development, The Study Academy ventured into the world of accreditation in 2019. Having successfully completed its Readiness Review in April of that year, TSA committed to a Continuous Improvement leadership model and was accredited with Cognia in February of 2021. Cognia’s accreditation assessed the entire school, completing extensive surveys with families, faculty, students, and community partners as well as exhaustive document review to assess our policies, learning conditions, and cultural context.

Cognia Accreditation

Cognia, formerly AdvancED, internationally recognises schools that meet rigorous standards focused on productive learning environments, equitable resource allocation to meet their learners’ needs, and effective leadership.

“To earn Cognia accreditation, a school also must implement a continuous process of improvement and submit to internal and external review. Schools in good standing can maintain their accreditation for a six-year term.”
Dr. Mark A. Elgart, president and CEO of Cognia

Commendation from Dr. Mark A. Elgart
